Medicare today is evolving and it is time to develop a solid forward strategy
What impact does Medicare have in influencing beneficiaries' healthcare issues? As the baby boomers become eligible for Medicare, the fiscal and operational challenges influencing Medicare to become a satisfactory program remains a focus on impacting a strategic and tactical plan.
"Over 30 Medicare experts examine the challenges and issues faced in the industry today," said Alex Levin, who created a special summit featuring Medicare leaders. Levin is the division manager and program director of "Medicare Today & Tomorrow," taking place July 29-31, 2008 in Washington, D.C.
The conference showcases every major issue facing the industry to explain exactly where Medicare is evolving and to prepare Medicare executives with a long-term Medicare strategy. Levin said, "No conference on Medicare would be complete without a briefing by CMS. I am pleased to present a special session on Abby Block, director of the Center for Beneficiary choices at CMS." Block presents the Opening Session "CMS Perspective on the Current State of Medicare and What to Expect in the Future."
The conference has an impressive faculty of speakers and strategic sessions from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of South Carolina, American Enterprise Institute For Public Policy Research, Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Inc., Medtronic, Health Net, Inc., Senate Finance Committee, Gorman Health Group, Universal American, Molina Healthcare, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida, Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association, AETNA, Dykema Gosett PLLC, Scan Health Plan, Enclara Health, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Wellcare Health Plan, Dynamic Commerce Applications, American Institutes For Research, Arcadian Health Plan, Matrix Medical Network, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, and CIGNA HealthCare.
"World Research Group listens and responds to requests for current and useful topics!" said Director, Provider Services & Contracting for Molina Healthcare of Washington Sue Foster, a previous attendee from the Medicare conference series.
The conference combines high-quality Medicare content with networking activities. "We want attendees to leave this conference with an action list to implement programs that enhance healthcare quality and control costs for the Medicare population," added Levin.
