| Predictive modeling's applications in health care have multiplied. Now predictive modeling can actually direct care management initiatives and clinical interventions. Most importantly, by connecting risk with cost, predictive models can impact healthcare revenues by controlling preventable costs, such as the costs of fraud.
The Predictive Modeling Congress brings together both the medical management and actuarial/underwriting sides of Predictive Modeling. It merges the clinical and mathematical applications of predictive modeling. On the clinical end, predictive models can assess risk, stratify member populations according to risk, and guide interventions and care management strategies. On the statistics side, predictive models can use data available from care providers and patients to more accurately assess risk and forecast outcomes. For healthplans, predictive models can provide more comprehensive information about the members they serve. This conference is the first event of 2011 to address predictive modeling's newest applications after the implementation of healthcare reform.

Share Your Case Study
We are actively recruiting speakers to bring the 2010 conference to life! If you have an innovative example of a success story or a case study of a way your organization has reduced the occurrence of fraud, controlled preventable costs, or found new and innovative applications of predictive modeling please let us know. For consideration for this event, please prepare your proposal and contact Alexander Levin at 646-723-8048 or alex@worldrg.com.
The Networking
In this critical time for utilities, face-to-face conversation offers an unmatched opportunity to learn from your peers' successes and challenges. We recognize the importance of capturing new ideas, strategies and connections and have designed networking breaks, practitioner-led interactive sessions and on-site activities throughout the National Predictive Modeling Congress for Health Plans to facilitate this exchange. We are serious about ensuring that your time at this conference is well spent!
